After breakfast, drive back to Accra. En route, stop at the Besease Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site believed to have guided the legendary Queen Mother Yaa Asantewaa before the 1900 war.

After an early-morning breakfast, check out of your hotel and depart for Lome, Togo. Arrival at Aflao border; meet, assist; transfer to Lome and lunch at a local restaurant. Lome city tour: visit Independence Square, National Museum, Art Street and Lome Central Market with its famous “Nana Benz”.

Overnight: Hotel in Lome
Depart your hotel to Kpalime between plains and green hills. En route stop at local scenery, at the foot of Mount Agou, Togo’s highest point and cocoa and coffee plantations. In Kpalime, visit the local German catholic church. Drive through vestiges of Missahoe forest with falls to Kuma Konda, known for beautiful butterflies. Hike in the local woods before returning to Kpalime. Visit Kloto Craft Centre with its different sections: batik, macramé, woodcarving, ceramic, weaving, etc. After lunch in a local restaurant, have a scenic drive back to Lome.
Rest of the day free at leisure
Overnight: Hotel in Lome
Early departure from Lome after breakfast and drive through the port and industrial area to Aneho, a border town and first capital of Togo. After border formalities, continue to Ouidah. Experience a poignant journey through the remnants of the slave trade, including the Slaves’ Road, the Gate of No Return, and the Slave’s Auction square- offering invaluable insights into Ouidah’s historical era.
After lunch, continue to Agbomey-Calavi. Arrive at Abomey-Calavi; cruise the Nokoue lake for Ganvie, the biggest stilt village in Africa. Visit the lake village with its floating market, its Lovers’ Lane and other places of interest. Stop at a typical Ganvie souvenir shop.
Back to Abomey-Calavi. Drive to Cotonou late in the afternoon.

Depart hotel after breakfast. Drive to the Amazone’s Square. Pay attention to the Agojie or Amazon Battalion History: Explore the history of the Agojie, an elite women’s battalion, and their resistance against the French Colonial army, including a monumental tribute.
Immerse thereafter in Benin’s artistic treasures at the Art Market, where tradition and contemporary art merge, offering a curated collection and captivating narratives.
Leave to Accra via Togo. Arrive to Benin-Togo border. Immigration formalities and continue to Lome for lunch and drive to the Togo-Ghana border (Aflao) where your Ghana representative will meet you and transfer you to Accra.
