There are countless waterfalls in Ghana, the country is full of these wonderful natural resources and notably amongst them is the Wli Waterfalls. Reputed to be the highest waterfalls in West Africa and the largest in Ghana, also known locally as Agumatsa waterfalls – meaning, “Allow Me to Flow.”
Located in the Hohoe municipality of the Volta Region, Ghana which is approximately 280 km from the capital Accra. The waterfalls drops down from a highest of approximately 80 meters which is spectacular to behold.
Put on your trekking shoes and enjoy a hike through a dense tropical forest. Cross the 11 (eleven) stream of the meandering Agumatse River. Enjoy the refreshing swim in the falls pool.
