Depart Kumasi for Cape Coast in the Central Region. Drive through the forest and several farming villages. Stop en route to visit Assin Manso, burial site of the remains of the two ancestors exhumed from New Yorkโs Wall Street and Kingston, Jamaica, and re-interred on Emancipation Day 1998. Visit the โSlave River Siteโ where enslaved Africans were allowed to have their bath in preparation for auction at the nearby slave market.
